Finding good mobile games to play can be tough. Many of the most popular ones are also the ones most riddled with microtransactions, energy systems, and other obstacles to long gaming sessions. The games that aren’t popular are almost impossible to find, since not that many “serious” gaming sites focus on mobile games. Mobile game aficionados know all too well the feeling of endlessly scrolling through Google Play/the App Store, looking for something new to play.
My Dpad is trying to fight that. Even though mobile gaming might never quite compare to console/PC gaming, smartphone games have greatly improved in the last few years. My Dpad will highlight the best mobile games worth playing here (including the best free mobile games), so check back often if you’re looking for something new to play. Rather than strictly reviewing/rating these games, My Dpad will only point out the ones worth playing, with each article serving to give you an idea of what you might get if you end up downloading a game. Here are some great mobile games you can play with your friends, your girlfriend/boyfriend, or yourself for hours.

My Dpad is trying to make this the ultimate resource for people looking for that next killer smartphone game. As we all know, though, it can be all too easy for great smartphone games to slip through the cracks, especially when the money makers are mostly Clash of Clans ripoffs. If you have any tips, or if you want me to check out your game for consideration, go ahead and email me. I’d really appreciate it, and so would anyone looking for a great way to kill some time.
