Demon's Tilt Upper Table Featured

Demon’s Tilt Is Digital Pinball Perfection

If you’re like me, you can’t get enough of (digital) pinball. You might have a bunch of tables on Zen Pinball, you might play pinball on your DS/DraStic emulator, or you might just remember the good old days of Windows XP Pinball. You might also just love real pinball too, of course. Whatever the case, if you’re into pinball video games, you have to check out Demon’s Tilt.

“Occult Pinball Action”

Demon’s Tilt is a digital pinball game inspired by video pinball games from the ’90s. The controls are extremely responsive, and the gameplay is perfectly suited for either a gamepad or a keyboard, since there are only so many buttons you need to press. Demon’s Tilt has a single three-story table, but there’s enough going on in that single table to get hours out of this game. It has a great variety of gameplay elements, and at times it plays like a bullet hell game more than anything else.

In other words, each gameplay session feels quick and breezy, but the gameplay is also complex and frantic. All of this makes it the perfect type of game to play in between sprawling AAA RPGs. More than anything, though, it’s just amazingly polished.

Excellent Audiovisual Quality

Demon’s Tilt looks absolutely great and has flawless, buttery smooth animation. It pairs those visuals with good, driving music and weighty sound effects that give the table something of a physical feel. Some digital pinball games feel too flat, while others use pinball elements in games that don’t feel like pinball. Demon’s Tilt strikes the perfect balance by delivering a classic pinball experience while also taking advantage of the flexibility afforded due to the fact that it’s a video game.

Buy On Steam Or Play With PC Game Pass

If Demon’s Tilt sounds like it’s up your alley, you can buy it on Steam for $14.99. However, as of yesterday, it’s also on PC Game Pass. This means you can play it right now for free if you’re already a PC Game Pass or Game Pass Ultimate subscriber. It doesn’t even take up a full gigabyte on your computer, so you have nothing to lose if you have Game Pass. Sure, Yoku’s Island Express is great, but it’s nice to have a traditional pinball game in the catalog now.

If you’ve ever enjoyed physical pinball tables, video pinball from back in the day, or more modern digital pinball games, you have to give Demon’s Tilt a try. You can play it for cheap whether or not you’re a Game Pass subscriber, and it’s so polished and flawless that it’s worth every penny either way. If you like pinball, you won’t regret it.
