The Best Extended Mouse Pads For PC Gamers

If you play games on your computer, you definitely have a mouse pad. Some of you might have thought about your mouse pad choice more than others, but you all have one nonetheless. However, no matter how different they look, they’re probably all roughly the same size as the ones you used in school (that is, not even one square foot). What if I told you there was a better way?

Instead of having a little mouse pad on part of your desk, what if you could just cover your desk in mouse pad? You’d never have to worry about your mouse pad sliding again, and you could even put your keyboard, phone, and anything else down on a surface that’s a little softer than your desk. An extended mouse pad is a cheap way to make your gaming setup just a little nicer. Here are some good options.

Corsair MM300 Extended Mouse Pad

The Corsair MM300 extended mouse pad, which is the one I personally use, is a great choice that will only set you back $20. It’s about 3 feet by 1 foot, and it has an anti-slip surface on the back and raised ridges all around the sides so that nothing slides off. It’s pretty basic, but it’s an enormous upgrade over a normal-sized mouse pad. If you’re lucky, you might even be able to find it at a brick-and-mortar store near you, as I got mine at Office Depot and didn’t have to wait for shipping.

Blade Hawks RGB Gaming Mouse Pad

The Blade Hawks RGB Gaming Mouse Pad is similar to the Corsair MM300, but with the obvious difference of having RGB lighting. The lighting is USB-powered, so you don’t really have to worry about batteries or anything, but it is something to think about in terms of how your desk is set up. The surface is supposedly waterproof too, but I’m not sure if that includes the lighting elements or not.

Bimor Extended Gaming Mouse Mat/Pad

Finally, for people who want a personal touch, there’s the Bimor extended pad. With 25 patterns to choose from, including gaming-themed choices like ARK, Fortnite, and Overwatch, you’re sure to find something you like. It’s also just a bit taller than the first two listed here, which might be nice for some people (just make sure there’s enough space for it on your desk).

Happy playing!

No matter which extended mouse pad you end up choosing, you’ll soon enough be wondering how you went this long without one.
