For most PC gamers, Steam is not only where you play your games but also where you find them. The Steam store is pretty well-labeled and organized, and combined with the discovery queue you usually have no problem finding new games you might like. Since there are so many Steam games out there, though, some are still bound to slip through the cracks. This is where Steam curators come in.
Curators are Steam users that you can follow who highlight games they like with a quick sentence or two about each game. Anyone can be a Steam curator, but websites (like My Dpad!) also curate directly on Steam as well. This is what I’d like to introduce today: My Dpad’s new steam curation page, Great Medium-Spec Games.
If you follow Great Medium-Spec Games on Steam, you’ll see all our recommended games right in your Steam store page. You can also browse our page whenever you’re looking for a new game to play. The point of Steam curation is to help you find new games recommended by a source you trust. The goal of My Dpad’s Steam curation with Great Medium-Spec Games is to highlight all sorts of games you can play if you have a decent (but not necessarily great) computer to work with. Great Medium-Spec Games will highlight puzzle games, action games, adventure games, shooters, RPGs, and any other type of game that we think you might like that you don’t need a great computer to play.
To give you an idea of some of the other games we’ve recommended so far, they include Cities: Skylines, Game Dev Tycoon, VVVV, an Audiosurf. If you like any of these games, follow Great Medium-Spec Games on Steam and we’ll help you find some more games you might like. Combined with the games we recommend here on My Dpad, you should never again have a problem finding a new great game to play.
