Match 3 games like Candy Crush and Marvel Puzzle Quest can be some of the most fun mobile games around. The only problem is that, to truly enjoy these games without restrictions, you’d have to spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars. We’ve previously written about the best premium match 3 games with no in-app purchases, and while they’re all great options, they might not fully scratch the exact same itch. Now with Google Play Pass, though, there’s a perfect alternative you can play (along with hundreds of other games) for just $1.99/month: Pastry Paradise.
A Colorful Match 3 About Cakes
As you can see, Pastry Paradise looks and plays like all of the most addicting Candy Crush clones out there. Sometimes, it’s nice to just turn your brain off and play a cute game full of bells and whistles. Pastry Paradise perfectly scratches that itch. However, it normally has the same monetization problems that other games like it have. This is no longer the case for people with Google Play Pass.
Pastry Paradise + Google Play Pass
When you subscribe to Google Play Pass (free for a week, then $1.99/month for a year, then $4.99/month after), you can play Pastry Paradise without any restrictions. You can access all in-app purchases without spending any extra money, meaning that you’ll never have to spend a cent. In other words, this is a combination like no other: Pastry Paradise is not a premium game, but a game designed with the same monetization as Candy Crush. However, with Google Play Pass, you can play it without having to break the bank.
Ease Off Your Candy Crush Addiction With Pastry Paradise
Since Google Play Pass subscribers can play Pastry Paradise to their heart’s content without having to spend hundreds of dollars (like they might have to for Candy Crush or another game like it), I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to wean off Candy Crush, especially people who are spending too much money for comfort on it. In addition, Google Play Pass pays developers by time played, not up front (as we’ve written about previously). My Dpad believes this is bad for developers, and that they should instead be paid up front. However, it also means that sinking hours and hours into Pastry Paradise will be supporting the developers, so for situations like this it’s a win-win.
Anyways, if you’ve been spending too much money playing Candy Crush or one of its clones, get yourself a Google Play Pass subscription and start playing Pastry Paradise. Your wallet will thank you, and you’ll also have access to hundreds of other great games. Happy playing!
