Hey My Dpad readers, it’s 2017 and we’re here today to talk about five exciting upcoming video game releases, mostly for the PC. NBA 2K18 is about to come out, and Football Manager 2018 (all three versions) will actually release in 2017, while Tropico 6 will not actually release until 2018, but that doesn’t mean I’m not excited about it right now.. These are the five upcoming games that I’m the most excited about right now, so let me tell you why you should be excited too.
NBA 2K18 Coming Out In 2017
Another year, another release of the excellent NBA 2K series, which have been the cream of the crop for sports games with RPG elements ever since NBA 2K11. NBA 2K18 brings another release of its acclaimed MyCareer mode which lets you live out the life of an up-and-coming NBA superstar, starting before the NBA draft. NBA 2K18 comes out in just two days, on September 15th, so you preorder it you can already download and play “The Prelude”, which allows you to start a career which you can carry on into the game once it’s released.
NBA 2K18 is available for $59.99 on PC, Xbox One, and PS4
Football Manager 2018 Coming Out in 2017
Okay, so maybe I was being a little sneaky when I said five games, because the 2018 crop of Football Manager games actually includes three different games, Football Manager 2018, Football Manager Touch 2018, and Football Manager Mobile 2018. They’re all actually different games though, so I think it’s fair play. Football Manager 2018 is the newest version of the classic game, Touch is a stripped-down version of the game but still for PC, and Mobile is a stripped-down version of the game for smartphones. If you buy the full version of the game, though, you get Touch for free. All versions of the game are coming out on November 10th, 2017.

Tropico 6 Coming Out In 2018
Finally, the latest version of one of my favorite game series of all time, Tropico, is coming out on an as-yet-unannounced date in 2018. Tropico 6 will finally offer archipelagos, so you can control multiple islands at a time, which has long been one of the greatest wishes for the franchise. The game also offers new raids where you can send spies off to other countries, as well as all sorts of improvements to infrastructure, transportation, and most other aspects of the game (just like each release of Tropico improves on the one before it). Again, the release date of Tropico 6 has not been officially announced yet, but it should be sometime in 2018.
