Ahh, Digimon. While some people will always think of it as Pokémon’s less-successful cousin, others (like me) know the truth: Digimon kicks ass. In 2015, Digimon hit something of a high point with Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, but you had to have a PS4 or a Vita to be able to appreciate its brilliance. Then, in 2017, we got Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth — Hacker’s Memory. It was more of a retelling of the first game than an original sequel, but still an absolutely must-play JRPG. Still, like the first game, you could only experience its greatness on PS4 or Vita. Lucky for PC gamers and Switch players, this is no longer the case.
Now, for the low price of $49.99, you can experience both games on your computer or your Switch.
Both Cyber Sleuth Games In One Package
You see, back in the day, suckers (like me) had to pay $39.99 to buy the first Cyber Sleuth game, and then had to pay another $39.99 two years later to get the rest of the Digimon story (though luckily we could continue our progress). PC and Switch gamers are insanely lucky, though, because they can pay just $49.99 (less than a typical full-priced AAA game) to play the entire story without having to wait. Even though I have both games installed on my Vita right now, I’m even a little tempted to get the complete edition myself for PC or Switch.
Maybe The Best Monster Collecting JRPGs Of All Time
Ever since Dragon Quest V, monster collecting JRPGs have captivated the world. This is particularly obvious when you consider Pokémon’s massive popularity. Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth made a case for itself as the best monster collecting RPG when it came out in 2015, but now that it’s releasing alongside Hacker’s Memory, it’s hard to argue that there’s a better choice out there. I mean, come on, there are over 300 Digimon in this game! It’s never been easier to get yourself lost in a digital world of monsters.

Another exciting thing to note is that PC gamers can buy the complete edition of Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth on Steam!
